Mercury Movers was founded in 1982 by three young men who believed they could provide better service through hard work, friendliness, economy through efficiency, flexibility and responsiveness. Mercury Movers operates in Wisconsin by the authority of the Wisconsin DOT under License #538941, in the state of Minnesota by the authority of the Minnesota DOT under HHG License #319980 and in New York by the authority of the New Yord DOT under License #T-36118. All interstate is performed under the authority of IIC #42886, National Van Lines. Each state also regulates storage and warehousing through their respective departments of Agricultute.

Mercury Movers is covered by Comprehensive Public Liability; including General Liability, Automotive Liability, Warehouse Legal Liability, Cargo Liability and Worker's Compensation. Coverage is held by major carriers. Certificates of Insurance will be issued ot named parties on request.
