RESIDENTIAL RELOCATION
Your move will be managed personally by an Icon Moving Systems consultant. It will be tailored to meet your unique needs and will factor all aspects including moving dates, times, travel routs and traffic, elevators and stairs.
A typical New York residential relocation includes:
• Estimates & Scheduling – An Icon Moving Systems consultant will provide an estimate of charges either by in-home review or via telephone, fax or email and a target move date will be scheduled.
• Inventory – Your belongings will be catalogued and inventoried and a list of all items to be moved will be provided for your convenience.
• Preparation – A moving team will pack all major electronic equipment (stereo, television, computer, etc.), large pictures, mirrors, lamps, wardrobe, etc. All furniture will be fully wrapped and padded. Crating, assembly, or disassembly of previously designated pieces will be completed. Boxes and supplies can be provided for you to pack your property.
• Moving - An Icon Moving Systems professional team will transport your belongings to their new location. Each move is supervised by a foreman who will ensure you receive correct information and accurate documentation. During the move, he remains in constant contact with our headquarters via radio dispatch.
• Unpacking – Your belongings will be unwrapped and furniture setup to your satisfaction.
Commercial Services
Icon Moving Systems offers end to end relocation solutions for office and corporate moves locally within New York, across the country or overseas. Our moving consultants will coordinate each aspect of the move to minimize downtime and maximize savings.
A typical full service New York commercial relocation includes:
• Planning- An Icon Moving Systems Relocation Moving Consultant will meet with you to develop a cost effective and time efficient moving plan specifically designed for you.
• Preparation – All necessary packing materials and supplies will be delivered to you at your convenience. An Icon Moving Systems employee will be on hand during the packing process and our team will pack specialty items such as mirrors, artwork and antiques to ensure their safety during transport.
• Inventory – Items will be marked and tagged according to your floor plan. We will label each box and item of furniture according to your floor plan to ensure the proper placement of items.
• Packing – An Icon Moving Systems crew will pack the contents of your office including files, blueprints, office equipment and pictures. We wrap and protect all items for transport. We use library carts when moving libraries to maintain the order and integrity of your books. All items are preloaded onto dollies to ensure quick use of the elevator on move day.
• Protection - In accordance with your building specifications, office floors and walls and common areas will be properly protected prior to moving any items. Icon Moving Systems will set up wall coverings and Masonite to ensure that no damage during moving occurs.
• Transport – The Icon Moving Systems crew, equipment and foreman will arrive at an agreed upon time to load items onto our moving trucks.
• Setup – At your new location, Icon Moving Systems will unpack all items as designated on your moving plan. We will reassemble furniture and other items and take necessary precautions to prevent damage to walls and floors in your new office space.
