MOVERS GLOBAL RELOCATION CORP

Our commitment to customer satisfaction makes Global Relocation the "Wizard of Moving."
After all, there's no place like home!

Moving with Global Relocation has emerged as a leading network of relocation services on the Internet. Our leading moving industry expertise is readily available to offer you a multitude of services 24 hours a day. We started with a small storefront on West 45th Street in Manhattan. Today we have three warehouses, twenty brand new trucks, all equipped with state of the art GPS tracking technology and wireless Internet access, and a New-York office. The reputation of a moving company is one of the biggest factors in selecting a mover, but for long distance moves, it should be the biggest factor. Consider the care and effort that movers must apply. Experience and capability should take precedence over price.

It is our mission to simplify the moving process and reduce the stress associated with each undertaking. We continuously strive to become the undisputed leader of relocation resources on and off the internet. We do this by offering the best selection of quality agents and the most comprehensive guides, tools, and tips for the consumers planning for relocation. We are a family business and we take pride in our work. Our employees are professionally trained movers who personally handle your belongings.

Trust Global Relocation with your long distance move. Long distance and commercial move charges are based mainly on the weight of your items and the distance they need to be moved. It just makes sense that moving a sparsely furnished four-room house from Atlanta to Baltimore will be cheaper than moving a twenty-room house packed with furniture from Boston to Seattle.
Since full trailers by single households, discounts are always available because moving companies have to consolidate a few households' items together into one 18-wheel truck. Because weight or volume is perhaps the biggest determinant of price for a long distance move, here are some things you must know.

The weight or volume of your items is actually measured on a scale. Only, the scale is for the truck. Before the move, the weight of the truck without your goods is measured. This is called "empty weight". The scales are usually located at the nearest truck stops or at the moving companies' facilities. You are allowed to accompany the driver to the scale during the weigh-in to ensure that everything is in order. Make sure that your mover provides you with an "empty weight" receipt. In order to avoid additional charges during the move, you must;

• Know the layout of your new community or apartment complex
• Know if the area will accommodate huge 18-wheelers
• Know the building restrictions beforehand
• Know about walkway/elevator access

The agents will have no knowledge of this information, so it is up to you to provide it to the best of your knowledge.

Storage can be used for many different reasons. If you're trying to sell your home you may want to free closets and rooms of extra clutter so that the place shows better. Maybe you have too much furniture for your new home; the kids have moved out but you can't part with all their childhood memorabilia; you want to store items for different seasons; you have stacks of documents that you need to keep but don't want them to take up living space. Use Global Relocation to store your belongings and move you.
