John
J. Breadmore acquired a used truck and started hauling all types
of commodities in the Boston area to support his family during
the depression after losing his job as a result of the crash of
1929. He built a reputation for service and integrity working
twelve to sixteen hour days for most of the depression. Settling
in South Boston in 1932, he built his business from a tenement
apartment he shared with his wife and seven children. As his reputation
grew he narrowed the scope of his business to the household goods
field. By the time of his passing in 1961 his children were ready
to build on his reputation of quality, service, and integrity.
Expanding into the storage and office moving fields they doubled
their business over the course of fifteen years. When you need
a Boston mover, give us a call.
