Mission
We
at LTRE are here to offer our version of a full service
real estate website. In the age of specialization, we
are here to demonstrate that it is possible to offer all
the makings of a "one-stop-shop" that is packed
with resources and tools, yet easy to navigate. Our goal
is to facilitate the purchase and sale of homes that empowers
the individual, while delivering value to agents. We know
that sounds kind of . . . well, impossible, but it really
isn't. Here's why:
Back
in the dark ages (that is, before the Internet) buying
a house used to be easy. Sure, you had to drive around
endlessly in search of lawn signs advertising properties
for sale, or visit half-dozen agents to find one that
was genuinely qualified. But because agents had a virtual
monopoly on information, choices were relatively limited
and the process was pretty painless in an "ignorance
is bliss" kind of way. But now, you can log on to
any one of a half a million websites, only to find 1 million
agents and 2 million properties. Isn't technology making
our lives so much easier?
The
point is, even though the information available is staggering,
and requires a ton of time and effort to sort through
and digest, it is ultimately empowering—as knowledge
generally is. For the individual consumer, they can arm
themselves with a lot of information. But ultimately,
there is so much information out there that digesting
it becomes a full time job. And that is why God created
real estate agents! Ironically, the dissemination of all
that information has, far from alleviated the need for
agents, actually reinforced them as a necessary part of
the real estate equation.
So,
our mission remains: offer a comprehensive mix of excellent
resources to manage the virtual deluge of information
available to the consumer. We hope that you will keep
